I stopped to grab a photo of this Snowshoe Hare expecting it to 'high-tail' out of sight. Instead, it leaped off the snowbank, sent me a raspberry, then ran at top speed down the road right at me! I thought for sure it was going to run smack into me! It streaked by me missing me by a foot and gave me a cute back-side view.
